Fashion and wardrobe designer, founder of the Faten World brand. It is this "modern Tunisian woman, passionate about garment and clothes" which is in Faten Gharbi's scope. Her work was based on an in-depth research phase, which enabled her to meet the expectations of this target. It was by digging into the lifestyle and the needs of a "stylish Tunisian" that she began to create, from the material available at "Upcycling". Through the Moodh'up program, her goal is to be able to express her creativity, through a person to dress, by complying with the zero - waste approach. Confident and determined, she has developed her pieces to be recycled by expressing innovative ideas that arise during the creative process. Upcycling has proven to be a generator of unlimited creativity. A duality characterizes the two creations of Faten Gharbi which have, at the same time, discreet and dark colors, and express, through their form, a rebellious side, "Edgy", and a strong personality. The designer manages to transmit her futuristic vision by drawing on a “Casual Chic” register. A major challenge presented itself to her: limiting herself to the resources made available to her while guaranteeing a zero-waste approach. In the first creation, 3 garments are combined: Coat, jacket and pants. Each piece of scrap is reused in another piece, and each piece can be worked on separately or give life to other pieces. The designer infused her creative imprint into her work, through various techniques such as patchwork, which was used to finalize the bottom of the coat by reusing the scraps from each cutting, and to sew them, to finalize all parts of the coat. The technique of symmetry, allowed her to refine her molding, and to calculate with precision each geometric detail. Not forgetting the widening and yoke applied to her second creation: a jumpsuit made from four pieces: Leggings, skirt, jumpsuit and, shirt. Two innovative and original pieces with only 2% waste that materialized the final result for "Moodha Okhra". Faten Gharbi is a young fashion designer and wardrobe designer who draws her strength from her artistic universe. Her Faten brand, created in April 2022, is eco-friendly and advocates futuristic and committed fashion.
